How can I delete a log?

Swipe left on the log you want to delete. 

You'll see a trash can pop up. Tap the trash can to delete the log permanently. This action cannot be undone.

Bulk Delete

You can now bulk delete and bulk export journal entries in versions 1.7+. Please see this article, as the delete option is available alongside export.
